Be Informed
After registering to vote, a Christian must become informed
concerning contemporary issues and candidates and use his
vote wisely. There are many ways to become
informed. The Internet has a wealth of information - from
individual candidate or politician positions on issues and
voting records to a copy of bills being considered in legislative
bodies. One may also become informed by attending meetings
with candidates. Newspapers, candidate newsletters, voting
guides, books and magazines often contain meaningful information
on candidates and issues. God entrusted America's care to
His people. This is evidenced by our founding fathers' beliefs,
principles and warnings. "Political" ignorance and apathy
on the part of God's people violates this sacred trust.
